Calot et turban en drap fin garance, bandeau en drap fin bleu clair, soutaches de grade, boutons demi-sphérique maintenant la fausse jugulaire à la couleur de l'arme, argent. Chiffre du régiment de Châteaudun en métal argenté de qualité. Visière recouverte d'une toile enduite noire protégeant de la l'eau. Dessus du calot pourvu d'un noeud hongrois à bruns doubles propre aux officiers de rang supérieur.

Bandeau de coiffe en parti désolidarisé de la visière, mais ne nuisant pas à la présentation.

Bon état général, quelques trous de mite sur l'arrière comme montré sur les photographies, oxydation d'usage des galons.
