Plateau en laiton agenté avec motif central en forme de couronne constituée d'une banche de chêne et une branche de laurier d'aigle couronnée posée sur deux canons croisés en laiton estampé découpé et doré.

Boutons en passementerie d'argent.

Ancienne collection du Capitaine BOTTET reproduit en illustration dans l'ouvrage de Louis FALLOU "LA GARDE IMPÉRIALE 1804-1815", Paris, LA GIBERNE 1901, page 349.
Cet exemplaire aux couleurs inversées est très rare, nous n'en avons pas examiné d'autre exemplaire. Soit il s'agit d'une indication de grade ou de fonction, soit il peut aussi s'agir du corps d'artillerie de la Garde Nationale au sein de la Garde Impériale
