Entirely silver bullion, embroidered with silver sequins ; silver braid strap richly embroidered with flower and palm-leaf design. Scarlet cloth lining. Thick silver fringe. Cockerel device buttons stamped with the motto « Liberté Ordre Public » (Liberty Public Order). In their original carboard box, wrapped in blue paper and labelled ‘DELACOUR Ancienne Maison BOUTRAIS Rue St Honoré, N°164, à Paris. Equipemens Militaires”. (Sic).

Near mint condition.

Garde Nationale field officer’s shoulderstraps are rare in their original condition. Most of them were altered later for them to look similar to those of the Garde Royale or the the Maison du Roi (the king’s household).

RETURN POLICY Items can be returned within 8 days of receipt. They must be returned by registered mail at the sender's expense, in their original packaging, and in their original condition.
