Habit français, et dégagé sur les cuisses.

Drap bleu national, doublé de même, boutonné sur la poitrine par seul rang de boutons sur le côté droit . Boutons dorés avec devise «INGÉNIEUR DES MINES» estampé au centre du coq gaulois.

Collet et parements de velours noir,richement brodés en fils cannetilles, paillettes et sequins dorés, d'une branche de laurier enlacée d'un ruban perlé et surmonté d'une baguette au collet, aux parements. Bouquets de même composition abondemment brodé à la taille et sur ainsi que sur les poches arrières bordées d'une baguette.

Bon état de conservation, broderies en superbe état, quelques petits trous de mites.
