FIRE FIGHTER HELMET OF THE NAVY, 1933 model, Fifth Republic. 30794
Slightly trapezoidal chrome-plated bomb shape, retaining the characteristics of the 1926 model helmet with ventilation holes, spring blades, and chin strap attachments. Brass rim folded over the outer edge of the visor and neck cover. Flat surface on the front of the crest with a flame brass ornament. Polished and chrome plated crest attached with rivets. Front plate made of stamped brass with a navy anchor on two crossed axes framed by oak and laurel branches and a ribbon with the inscription "POMPIERS DE LA MARINE" (Firefighters of the Navy). Brown leather chin strap. Inner ochre leather liner cut into six sections.
