LIVERY COAT AND WAISTCOAT, First half of the 19th century. 26285
Coat in scarlet wool closing at the front with two hooks, adorned with ten smooth flat polished iron buttons (Ø 2.7 cm). It is entirely trimmed with a 3.8 cm wide livery braid, white woven in natural color showing a helmet surmounting a coat of arms. Scarlet collar with double livery braid. Straight white wool sleeve cuffs with double livery braid and three uniform buttons. All seams of the uniform are covered with the livery braid. Two horizontal back pockets with three points and three buttons, entirely bordered with the same braid. Waist knot with two uniform buttons. Lined with white canvas.
Waistcoat in white wool at the front, buttoning straight at the front with nine small flat polished iron buttons (Ø 1.4 cm). Entirely trimmed with the livery braid. Lower horizontal pockets bordered with the livery braid. Back of the waistcoat in white canvas adjusting with laces.

Exterior of the coat and waistcoat in fairly good condition with some moth holes, four missing buttons on the waistcoat, linings are moth-eaten.
