Cylindrical barrel with two side flats at the breech, length 18.8 cm, marked "83" (1783) "508". Square breech tang, barrel length with the breech tang 21.7 cm. Heel drilled for the rear screw of the lock plate, blind hole under the heel tapped for the front trigger assembly screw. Lock plate model 1777, length 12.3 cm, signed "Mre Rle de Tulle", stamped with the "R" under the crown of the controller Claude Joseph Rouillard, 1779 to 1792, ending in a point at the rear. Brass pan. Stock in the shape of a grip similar to the 1777 box lock pistol. Iron fittings, trigger parts, fixed at the rear by the high screw of the pommel and at the front by a screw received in the hole under the breech tang. Iron handle strap engaged under the breech tang and fixed by a screw, rear engaged under the pommel and secured by a rivet. Brass trigger guard stamped "C" under the crown of the inspector Jean-Pierre Compas, at Tulle from 1779 to 1792. Brass muzzle cap encompassing the barrel and the rod, stamped "C" under the crown of the inspector Jean-Pierre Compas, at Tulle from 1779 to 1792, its inner part is fixed under the trigger guard. Very elongated front sight and slot for the cleaning rod. Brass pommel fixed with two screws. Belt hook in steel fixed by the rear screw of the counter-plate. A lug near the buckle prevents the hook from turning. Iron rod, nail-shaped head.
