HORN BUTTON FEATURING PROFILES OF NAPOLEON AND CHARLEMAGNE, 19th century. 26070

Made of black horn, encircled by a brass ring, with a diameter of 4.6 cm. It depicts the profiles of Napoleon and Charlemagne facing right, with the inscriptions "CHARLEMAGNE EMP" and "NAPOLEON EMP" below each profile. Signed at the bottom "DENON DIR. AN M D C C C V I".
