OFFICER'S GERMAN LIGHT CAVALRY BELT, Second half of the 19th century.

In black patent leather, 2 cm wide, closing at the front with two round gilt bronze buckles, each 2.7 cm in diameter, each depicting a lion's head, connected to the belt by a bronze tab and fastening to each other with an S-shaped hook. Complete with two suspension straps with brass buckles in the shape of lion heads.
