MEDAL FOR THE FEDERAL PACT OF JULY 14, 1790, Revolution. 26066

Oval-shaped, made of gilded brass, dimensions 4.1 cm x 2.8 cm. The obverse bears the inscription of the federal pact "14 JULY 1790" and features a relief image of a republic holding the tables of the law with a fleur-de-lis shield and an altar with a profile of Louis XVI in front of which an officer and soldiers swear an oath. On the reverse, the inscription "WE SWEAR TO UPHOLD WITH ALL OUR POWER THE CONSTITUTION OF THE KINGDOM" surrounded by a branch of oak and laurel.
