MEDAL FOR THE FEDERAL PACT OF JULY 14, 1790, Constitutional Monarchy. 26066
Oval-shaped, made of gilded brass, dimensions 4.1 cm x 2.8 cm. The obverse side bears the inscription of the federal pact "14 JULY 1790" and features a relief representation of a republic holding the tablets of the law with a fleur-de-lis shield and an altar with a profile of Louis XVI in front of whom an officer and military personnel are swearing allegiance. On the reverse side, the inscription "WE SWEAR TO UPHOLD TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY THE CONSTITUTION OF THE KINGDOM" framed by an oak branch and laurel.
