Horse chanfron in iron made from a single large piece featuring a central ridge flanked by two lateral ones following the shape of the head. The edges surrounding the ears, above the eyes, and those of the lower tip are finished with a simple hem. A filigree iron escutcheon, attached by two (modern) rivets, adorns the brow. The nape plate, with a fragment of the leather attachment preserved on the reverse, is missing.
Good condition, some damage on the borders of the eyes and the lower tip, most of the trim rivets are missing.
