Folding cheval de frise attributed to Citizen Latour, French Revolution, Paris circa 1798.
Consisting of six triangular bayonet-type blades mounted on six cylinders. The two outer blades are hinged and can be positioned at 90°, while the others pivot for a star-like deployment. To fold it, one must press a brass push button that unlocks the cylinders. Engraved assembly marks. Folded length: 50.5 cm; Weight: 1770 gr.
