Shako body in garance wool with jonquille wool piping placed on the vertical seams and in the center of the faces. These pipings converge on the right side to form a point whose tip reaches the bottom of the shako.
Two elliptical side flaps, in blue wool, edged on their convex development with jonquille wool piping; these two pieces sewn at the bottom of the shako are connected together at each end by a seam, folding down as desired.
On the front, in the curvilinear angle formed by the cutouts of the two flaps, a five-pointed star is sewn in jonquille wool (diameter 3.3 cm).
At the anterior angle at the top of the shako, a jonquille wool passementerie tassel is attached.
Interior lining in ochre buff leather.
Total height of the shako 14.2 cm.
