Austrian Cavalry Officer's Sword, Late 19th Century. 28809

Gilt bronze hilt. Single-branch guard. Double straight quillon. Round pommel. Shell-shaped knuckle bow decorated with a palmette. Cast grip imitating a fully filigreed handle. Straight blade with hollow grooves engraved on each side with the Austrian double-headed eagle, signed on the back, length 81.5 cm.

Good condition, usual oxidation on the blade, no scabbard.
