TROOP HELMET AND COVER HELMET OF LUNAY FIREFIGHTERS, type 1895, Third Republic. 24528

Helmet entirely in brass. Crest with prominent moldings decorated at the front with a grenade, fixed by an interior screw. Front plate in embossed brass with a crest stamped with a flaming grenade, surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch and a ribbon bearing the inscription "SAPEURS POMPIERS DE LUNAY". Plumet holder in tubular shape with slightly decreasing square section downwards. Chin strap in black lacquered leather. Interior leather lining in black lacquered leather cut into nine wolf teeth.

Khaki canvas helmet cover, with six black lacquered metal hook clasps for attachment to the helmet.
