HELMET FOR FIREFIGHTERS OF THE CITY OF MONTPELLIER, 1895 model, Third Republic. 24529

Helmet entirely made of brass. Crest with prominent moldings decorated on the front with a grenade, fixed by an internal screw. Front plate in embossed brass originally representing the arms of the lords of Montpellier (of silver with a red disc) which have been removed, surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch, with a ribbon bearing the inscription "SAPEURS POMPIERS DE MONTPELLIER" (FIREFIGHTERS OF MONTPELLIER).
