Silver hilt, with a Paris 950 silver hallmark (1809-1819), richly decorated with stars and floral bouquets. Crossguard with rings. Oval guard decorated with floral bouquets and two laurel crowns framing the Arms of France. Oval pommel decorated with floral bouquets. Grip entirely in silver, similarly decorated to the hilt. Triangular blade engraved and gilded on its first third with military trophies, on one side with the Arms of France and floral motifs, and on the other side "Given by the King", all on both sides against a blued background, blade length 85 cm. Scarlet cloth knot.
