GERMAN EMPIRE INFANTRY SABER, Mid-18th century. 28800
Brass hilt. Guard with two branches forming a solid shell engraved with "N63 / GCVS", straight quillon and thumb ring. Cap with a long tail with scalloped edges. Handle in wood covered with black waxed calf leather filigreed brass. Curved blade with hollow facets engraved on each side with the Passau wolf and the date "1747".
German Empire.
Mid-18th century.
In fairly good condition, main guard branch partially fractured at the bottom, blade oxidized, missing scabbard.
