Sword known as the "French chiselled sword." Gilded brass hilt. Guard branch decorated with laurel branches and a palmette. Pommel engraved on its front face with a prominent faded fleur-de-lis from the 1830 revolution. Filigree copper-entwined wooden handle, gilded brass ferrules. Relief-decorated hilt with the Arms of France surrounded by two palm branches, the fleur-de-lis were filed off during the 1830 revolution. Counter-guard decorated with palmettes and scrolls.
Straight blade with hollow facets, 85 cm long, engraved and gilded on its first third with military and floral trophies on a blue background.
