OFFICER'S PISTOL, Former Monarchy (circa 1750-1760). 30414

Octagonal barrel at the breech then round, length 20.6 cm, length with the breech tail 25 cm, caliber 16 mm. Walnut stock carved with silver fillets. All iron fittings engraved with rocaille motifs. Lock signed by the gunsmith Pierre Lamotte from Saint-Étienne, known between approximately 1727 and 1807. Whaling rod with horn tip.
Total length of the pistol 35 cm.
