Silver-plated hilt with three branches forming a medallion-shaped shell, adorned with the fleur-de-lis cross of the Musketeers on a radiant background. The guard is ended by a quillon in the shape of a palm leaf decorated with a fleur-de-lis. Below the medallion, the guard forms a palm leaf to support the medallion, and the two guard branches surrounding it are each terminated by a fleuron. Short-tailed pommel. Grip made of wood covered with dark brown leather and silver filigree.
Straight blade with hollow edges and a point extending from the back. Back of the blade engraved with "Mftre Imple du Klingenthal Coulaux frères." Gilt heel with the first third blued and gold-engraved on each side with the inscription "Deuxieme Compagnie des Mousquetaires," separated in the center by a gilded Musketeer's cross. Blade length 94.6 cm. Red wool scarf.
Leather scabbard with three silver-plated brass fittings. Each fitting is bordered by a ridge. Engraved chape "Manceaux à Paris." Tip of the scabbard with silver metal chape.

Very good condition, some wear to the varnish of the scabbard.
