REPLICA OF A NAVAL OFFICER'S BELT PLATE, following the regulation of 1st Prairial year XII (May 21, 1804), Late 19th century. 30286

Made of gilded brass, embossed with a naval anchor placed over a background of flag bundles with oak and laurel branches, framed by a twisted molding. Complete with its hook and rear stud, only one of the original two prongs is present. Dimensions: H 6.8 cm x 9 cm with curvature, 8 cm without curvature.
