Silver insignia, enameled, second type, depicting the imperial eagle facing to the left surmounting the Iron Crown in two parts enameled light blue, with pommeled tips; crown adorned with a medallion in chiseled gold featuring the profile of the Emperor to the right, with the Italian inscription "DIO ME LA DIEDE / GUA A CHI LA TOCCA" (GOD GAVE IT TO ME WOE TO HIM WHO TOUCHES IT); smooth ring.
Height 3.9 cm, width 2.3 cm.
Orange-yellow ribbon with green edging on each side (ribbon belonged to General Dupas).
