UNIFORM JACKET
Model 1822 in green cloth. It fastens straight at the front with 13 bell-shaped silver metal uniform buttons stamped with the number "5", diameter 1.8 cm. Both sides of the jacket are adorned with thirteen silver braids with a row of half-bell uniform buttons at their ends. Notched collar: on this piece, the collar points with three regulation points have been replaced by a yellow collar piped in green, collar height 6 cm. Pointed green cuffs piped in yellow, cuff height 9 cm. Sleeve opening adorned with two uniform buttons, diameter 1.3 cm. Epaulette loops in yellow cloth with silver braid, braid width 1 cm. Green cuffs rolled up and piped in yellow with a hunting horn embroidered in silver threads, coils, and sequins on a yellow background at the bottom of each angle. Green cuffs piped in yellow bearing three uniform buttons. Beige canvas lining, ochre leather waistband, brown collar lining, yellow cloth lining at buttonholes level.
Colonel's epaulets entirely in silver trimmings, fringes with large "spinach seed" balls lined with dark blue cloth with a smooth small module uniform button.

Good condition, moth holes, a 10 cm repair on the left shoulder, a missing button on one of the cuffs.
BIOGRAPHY:
Edmond du Plessis d'Argentré. Born on May 20, 1809 in Laval. Died on December 19, 1881 in Argentré-du-Plessis. Page of the King on May 12, 1826, second lieutenant in the 5th Regiment of Light Horse on October 1, 1829 from which he resigned on August 5, 1830. Struck off the roll on October 16, 1830.
