Hat made of black "flamand" felt; Height of the front part from the curved section 21 cm, Height of the front part from the base of the horns 27.5 cm, Height of the back part from the curved section 29 cm, Height of the back part from the base of the horns 36 cm, Width 45 cm, Depth 17 cm. Back part adorned with a black ostrich plume. The two horns are decorated with a silver passementerie floche.
Hat band formed by three matte and shiny silver twist cords, doubling around the large silver uniform button and secured by the same button.
Large silver uniform button, 1814 style half-rounded, embossed with the cross emblem of the musketeers of the second company (button diameter 2.6 cm).
Passementerie silver cockade with a white silk center (diameter 9.2 cm).
