PAIR OF EMBROIDERED EPAULETTES BELONGING TO BRIGADE GENERAL PIERRE MARIE FAUCHER KNOWN AS CONSTANTIN, First Empire. 30227

Entirely made of threads, bullion, and spangles. Each epaulette body in woven lace with a cul-de-sac design adorned with two silver thread stars and sequins, lined with dark blue, almost black fabric (length 15.5 cm, body width 7.5 cm, fringe height 6.5 cm), with double rotation, a double row of fringes with large "spinach seed" beads.

Cardboard box covered in ivory paper, lined with green paper, with inner cushioning in fabric with pink and green checks. Round label printed in black on the lid and another identical one inside the lid reads "À L'ÉTOILE D'OR, / Rue Saint-Honoré, near / l'Oratoire, n° 147. / VATEL, / Holds a shop for all kinds of Embroideries and Gilding in gold and silver."

- 27.11.1793: Suspended from their duties as suspected of federalism; maintained in their roles by the

- 01.01.1794: Accused by the Jacobins and decreed arrest
- 10.01.1794: Arrested in Saint-Maixent's army to be tried before the Revolutionary Tribunal

- 1814: Sentenced to death by the English for defending La Réole, but pardoned on the intervention of Marshal MARMONT

General CLAUZEL
- 24.09.1815: Arrested for allegedly harboring a weapons depot, imprisoned in the fort du Hâ and then sentenced to death by the military council of the 11th military division, executed three days later
