KNIGHT OF THE LEGION OF HONOUR CROSS, 1871-1946, Third Republic. 30398

Silver star, with five double pointed pommeled rays, enameled in white, framed by a branch of oak and laurel leaves enameled in light green. Obverse center in gold depicting the profile effigy of the Republic facing left, bordered by a blue enamelled band with the inscription in gold letters "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE 1870". Reverse center featuring two crossed tricolor enameled flags, bordered by a blue band with the inscription "HONNEUR ET PATRIE".

Suspension ring in the shape of a branch of enameled green oak and laurel leaves, independent and surmounted by a small ball.

Scarlet silk ribbon with rosette.

Total height with suspension ring 5.9 cm, diameter 3.9 cm.
