ARTILLERY TROOP POLICE KEPI, First Empire. 30238

Made of dark blue cloth with scarlet braid and piping. The kepi has a flame-shaped body ending in a point, measuring H 62 cm (51 cm visible), with each of the four corners decorated with scarlet braids and piping (one braid on each side and piping on the front and rear seams). It features a scarlet passementerie pompom. Two elliptical side flaps are bordered on the convex side with scarlet piping and a 4.5 cm wide scarlet braid. At the front, the visor has two points. The height of the visor on the sides is 11 cm, the height from the point to the back is 15 cm, the height of the front points is 15.5 cm, and the center front height is 13 cm. The interior lining is black waxed sheepskin.
