Brass hilt. Guard with three branches entirely decorated with chiseled scales, crosspiece with palmettes and fleuron. Pommel with a long tail entirely molded in relief with the head of a bearded warrior, oak and laurel branches, and palmettes. Wood handle trimmed with black waxed calf filigree in gilded copper.
Curved blade with hollow facets engraved on each side on the first third with a sandblasted and blued background featuring matte and browned gold: in the center a trophy of weapons, at the bottom the profile of the moon, framed by a sprig representing a floral branch race, length 84.6 cm, back with gilt trim on the first third decorated with a polished white floral branch race.
Steel scabbard with three gilded brass fittings. Protruding cup, belt loops richly decorated with foliage framed by prominent moldings, large chape entirely gilded and richly decorated in relief with the spindle of Jupiter sparkling, palmettes, acanthus leaves, fleurons, stylized laurel branch.
