MUSKETEER SWORD OF THE 1st COMPANY OF THE KING'S MILITARY HOUSEHOLD (Grey Musketeers), model 1814, Restoration period. 30032-2

Gold-plated brass hilt. Guard with a single branch decorated in relief with fleur-de-lis and a lion's head, with double horizontal quillons. Pommel decorated with lion heads and acanthus leaves. Wooden grip entirely filigreed in silver. Shell guard with a musketeer cross in silver riveted on each side. Hollow ground blade gilded and blued on its first third with military and floral trophies, 83 cm long.
Black varnished leather scabbard with two gilded bronze fittings engraved with foliage.
