Model made of steel plated with a sheet of brass, marked "673", bordered by 10 brass nails, and lined with a brass sheet itself bordered by 6 brass rivets. In the center, a steel glory in the shape of a radiant sun is fixed, on which is attached an oval brass insignia stamped with the imperial eagle on a sanded background framed by laurel branches. The cuirass is marked "Manufre Rle de Kingenthal May 18… (unreadable), 1eT, 2eL n° 38" (1st size, 2nd width).
Complete with its internal hooks for the padded vest.
