Made of polished steel bordered with 34 brass studs highlighted by a punched line in the steel, a particularity that distinguishes officer's cuirasses, and 2 raised studs under the chest for attaching the shoulder pauldrons' locks. Its lower part is rounded, a characteristic of the second model of cuirasses used during the Empire.
Lined with fine cream canvas with a ventral pocket.
