PAIR OF EPAULETTES
They are embroidered with twisted braid and gold spangles. The body is embroidered with a large palmette, bordered by a scalloped frame on almost black dark blue wool cloth; the badge is decorated with a shield covered with a palmette with a scalloped edge, adorned with three silver stars. The fringes are in thick matte twists. The outline consists of three turnings: one large and two smaller ones.
Uniform button model 1830 (gilt and matte, embossed in relief with a trophy formed of flags and a shield crowned with a rooster), it is attached at the top of the epaulette body, a strong clip is placed below, at the corresponding part (this clip fits into a small gusset sewn on the uniform).
Transport box in cardboard covered with green paper with locks and a brass handle. Box fully lined with ivory silk. Oval brass plate marked with the manufacturer's name "DASSIER RUE DE RICHELIEU N° 12 PARIS".
SASH-BELT.
In gold-thread and crimson silk mesh, featuring six plain gold bands and five bands of silk and gold, all equal in width and arranged alternately lengthwise. At the ends, two trapezoidal tassels are attached: the heads covered with gold thread cannetille applied in a checkerboard pattern, in matte point, slightly curved on both sides, bearing three solid silver stars clasped. The loops and long-fringed skirts are in thick matte twists.
At each end, the sash is finished with an ochre calfskin loop with steel buckles to facilitate wearing the sash without having to wrap it several times around the waist.
SWORD BELT.
In leather lined with red Moroccan leather and covered with scarlet wool braid mixed with four intertwined gold threads. Gilt and embossed brass buckles representing a Medusa head tied together by an S-shaped ring representing two snake heads.

Good condition, the epaulettes are in perfect condition, the box has some rubbing, the sash in very good condition with slightly sun-faded trim, the sword belt in perfect condition, spurs in perfect condition.
NOTE:
The title of "maréchal de camp" was used instead of "general de brigade" during the Restoration and July Monarchy, just as the rank of "lieutenant-général" replaced that of "général de division lieutenant-général." This title was definitively abolished in 1848.
