sentencing in absentia to five years of hard labor and fifteen hundred francs fine against the named Joseph BOURGEOIS born in Paris, ??? canton, department of the Seine, residing before his entry into Service [...], aged twenty-six, rifleman in the first regiment of the Paris guard, found guilty of the crime of desertion on the inside of October eighteenth, one thousand eight hundred and eight, of having taken away items provided by the Corps and being a replacement for the named Perdus.
