In nearly black dark blue cloth, scarlet piping, scarlet collar, tin buttons marked with the imperial eagle facing right, inner lining in beige canvas. Tunic closing straight at the front with nine buttonholes. Dark blue cloth cuffs cut in a pointed shape, scarlet piping, with two small size uniform buttons. False vertical back pockets with two points, scarlet piping, each with two large size uniform buttons. Epaulet loops in dark blue cloth with scarlet piping. Bronze medal with the profile of Louis Napoleon Bonaparte inscribed "The city of Paris to Louis Napoleon on October 6, 1852 Emperor" with its tricolor ribbon.
