WHITE SILK COMMAND SASH BELT OF MARSHAL LAW DE LAURISTON, Restoration Period. 29849
Made of white silk, approximately 30 cm wide, with a white silk rosette, around 18 cm in diameter. The sash is finished at both ends with a 3.5 cm wide white silk ribbon, embroidered with gilt silver threads and sequins in a laurel branch motif framed by a beaded rod. Trimmed with a combination of gold passementerie mixed with soft fringes known as "cordes à puits" and large twisted fringes known as "graines d'épinard," fringe length 12.5 cm.
Length of the sash belt is 2.60 meters.
