Letter on letterhead paper of the 1st Division of the Legion of Honor, addressed on July 23, 1807 by the Grand Chancellor, attesting to the purchase and sending of the eagle of the Order of the Legion of Honor to General Lauriston for presentation to the aide-de-camp Mr. Gentils, letter signed by Lacépède.
Dimensions: 26 cm x 20 cm.
Good condition, central fold.

Gouache watercolor: square-shaped miniature portrait, 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm, depicting the officer in a blue dress uniform, with golden buttons and epaulettes, collar and armband in royal blue fabric.

The set is presented under glass in a modern frame, dimensions: 40 cm x 29 cm.
