Iron hilt without decoration. Crossguard with small rings. Handle made of finely grooved ebony with sculpted ferrules. Round pommel. Triangular blade engraved on its first third with costumed figures, floral decoration, and signed at the heel "guet marchand weapon maker to royal justice at the mill", length 77 cm.
