Octagonal barrel at breech transitioning to rounded completely blued, stamped with the Charleville Manufactory mark at the breech in gold: "P" under a star of the Charleville inspector Jean-Nicolas Pache (1814-1815), "B" in an oval of the Charleville barrel controller from 1806 to 1821 Étienne Breuil, and the "F" under a star, stamp of the Charleville controller Jean-Denis Lefèvre (1806-1815), adorned with gold damascened decorations, engraved with a wreath pattern at the breech, followed by the large crowned arms of France and the inscription: "Gardes du Corps du Roi", length 1.027 m, length with the breech tail 1.09 m. Caliber 17.1 mm.
Flintlock stamped "M" under a star, signed "MANUF.re R DE CHARLEVILLE", brass drum pan; breech tail with recess.
Walnut stock with long butt, inspection stamp of the manufacturer on the oval-shaped stock with letters "MC".
All fittings in brass alloy known as "Manheim gold", fixed to the stock by steel springs, iron sideplates.
Brass guard bow cut in stylized fleur-de-lis shape on its front part.
Butt plate cut in a fleur-de-lis shape and engraved.
