Octagonal barrel at the breech then round, entirely blued, stamped by the Manufacture de Charleville at the breech in gold: "P" under a star of the inspector Jean-Nicolas Pache (1814-1815), "B" of the first-class controller Pierre Bouny (1807-1817), and the stamp of the inspector Jean-Baptiste Le Fèvre (1811-1815), decorated with gold damascene designs, engraved with a garland motif at the breech, as well as the large crowned arms of France and the inscription: "Gardes du Corps du Roi", length 1.027 m, length with the tail of the breech 1.09 m. Caliber 17.1 mm.
Flintlock plate stamped "M" under a star, signed "MANUF.re R DE CHARLEVILLE", brass drum-type pan; with a recessed breech tang.
Walnut stock with a long fore-end, manufacturer's acceptance stamp on the oval-shaped fore-end with the letters "MC".
All fittings in brass alloy known as "gold de Manheim", attached to the stock by steel springs, with iron trigger guards.
Brass trigger guard cut out in the shape of a stylized fleur-de-lis on its front part.
Butt plate cut out in the shape of a fleur-de-lis and engraved.
All screws with guilloched iron heads and tips.

Burgundy waxed leather sling, length 91 cm, width 3.4 cm, ending at one extremity with a semi-circular brass ring with a fixed buckle and at the other extremity with a double brass button.
