Brass hilt. Single-branch guard. Crossguard decorated with laurel leaves. Cap with a short tang and a relief-decorated pommel known as "melon ribs." Curved blade with hollow grooves, 68.4 cm in length, engraved and gilded on its first third with military trophies and floral motifs on a blued background. Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings with scalloped edges, decorated chape with lines and a button for belt attachment, and a bouterolle engraved with foliage.

Good condition, blade with some oxidation spots but retaining its colors, brass parts partially de-gilded, leather scabbard with some chipping in the varnish.
