Today, Sixth of July, 1814, with the King being in Paris and having complete confidence in the valor, good conduct, and loyalty of Mr. Duhamel de Brazais de Breuil (Alexandre), Musketeer in the First Company. His Majesty has conferred upon him the rank of Lieutenant of Cavalry, effective as of the Sixth of July, eighteen hundred and fourteen.
His Majesty orders his General Officers and others concerned to recognize Mr. Duhamel de Brazais de Breuil in this capacity.
