Gilt hilt. Guard with one branch decorated with the sparkling Jupiter's spindle. Oval-shaped hilt decorated with the uncrowned imperial eagle perched on a bundle of six infantry flags with the eagle. Pommel decorated with an imperial eagle with outspread wings. Folding counter-guard. Filigree brass horn grip. Straight blade with hollow facets entirely engraved with the arms of Toledo at the ricasso, followed by a rich floral decoration with the inscription "FABRICA DE TOLEDO 1864" on both sides, length 79.8 cm. Scarlet cloth knot. Black varnished leather scabbard with a brass chape adorned with a button for belt wearing.
Comes with its natural calf sheath.
