Solid brass hilt with a single branch guard signed "Versailles" and stamped with "V" (Verified) and "C" under the star of the director Châteaubrun, from July to December 1813. Handle with 28 twisted strands. Slightly curved flat blade, 58 cm in length, signed on the back "Manufactured Rle du Klingenthal July 1815" and stamped with "L" by Lobstein, inspector from June 1804 to July 1821, "B" within a laurel wreath, a stamp used from 1812 to May 185 by J.G. Bick, first-class controller, and "B" under a star by El Borson, inspector from August 1814 to 1816. Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings, with a chape with a knucklebow.
