CARTRIDGE BOX FLAG OF THE KING'S MILITARY HOUSEHOLD GUARDS, COMPANY OF NOAILLES, model 1820, Restoration period. 29815

In red Moroccan leather covered with a wide silver braid with blue roy silk cartridges (now turned green). Gilt brass fittings representing the royal crown and the face of the sun on a radiant sun background, the two fittings are linked by three pin chains. The flag is finished at both ends with silver metal rings and hooks. The width of the flag is 6.5 cm. A brass medallion engraved with "Mr Victor Fournier Guard of the King's Bodyguard. Co of Noailles" is sewn on the flag.
