Gilt brass hilt. Guard decorated with a naval anchor and laurel branches. Rounded pommel devoid of decoration. Wooden grip with mother-of-pearl plates. Side mounts made of a gilt brass ribbon decorated with a series of fleur-de-lis. Gilt brass ferrule. Triangular blade engraved, gilt and blued with military trophies and floral motifs, 79.8 cm long. Remnants of scarlet wool sword knot. Black varnished leather scabbard with two gilded bronze mounts elaborately decorated with foliage.

Restoration period.
Very good condition, the metal parts have retained their gilt finish, the blade has some areas of oxidation but has preserved its gilt and bluing.
