Gilt bronze hilt with chiseled decoration. Guard branch decorated with oak leaves, keyboard with a relief horse head within a crown of oak leaves framed by ears of wheat. Pommel decorated with winged Jupiter's spindles. Filigree brass handle with horn grip. Gilt brass ferrules decorated with fleur-de-lis and oak leaves. Folding counter guard. Two-sided blade, length 80.6 cm. Natural buffalo tie. Black leather-covered wooden scabbard with two brass fittings with scalloped edges.
Subaltern officer's sword knot with black silk cord, gilt tassel and pompon.

Good condition, hilt in very good condition, blade with slight oxidation from use, scabbard in good condition with some damage to the leather on the back.
