Percussion pistol, with a five-sided short barrel marked "S.1854", stamped with "M", "F", and "C de 17-6 N", marked near the sight "M I", serial number "4326". Barrel length 20 cm. Rear bolt engraved "Mle 1822 Tbis", overall length with the rear bolt 23.7 cm. Walnut grips with a slightly inclined stock, also serialized like the barrel "4326" and stamped "St ETIENNE", brass fittings, steel ringed pommel cap, iron trigger guard. Percussion lock stamped with "R" and signed "Manuf Rle de St Etienne". Model ramrod.
