Percussion pistol, with a five-sided short barrel marked "S.1854", stamped with "M", "F", and "C de 17-6 N", marked near the sight "M I", with the barrel numbered "1669". Barrel length is 20 cm. The breech has the engraving "Mle 1822 Tbis", with a length of 23.7 cm including the breech. Walnut stock with a slightly sloping butt, numbered "1669" like the barrel and marked "TULLE", brass fittings, steel ring cap, iron trigger guard. The percussion lock plate is stamped with an "R" and signed "Manuf Rle de St Etienne." Rod of the model, also numbered like the pistol.
