Short five-sided barrels without front sight or rear sight. Barrel length 13 cm, length with breech 16.8 cm.
Back-action locks model 1840 behind the hammer signed "Mre Rle de Maubeuge". Hammers identical to the 1822T pistol model. Walnut stocks, all fittings in polished steel. Loops holding the capucine under the stock in line with the trigger guard and the bow, held by the bow screw. Steel ramrods. Covered pommels.
Total length of each weapon 25 cm.
Caliber 15.2 mm.
